Everything that is beautiful,
Inspiring and aspiringCan easily be found
Inside our heart-garden. ```It is not a wise thing
To reduce everythingTo uniformity.
```God’s Compassion-Eye
Every day descends upon usWith an extremely sweet Smile.
```If one eye is in desire-life
And one is in aspiration-heart,How can we successfully proceed
Towards our Destination? ```May my heart-room
Never have spaceFor my mind
And its millions of thoughts. ```A sleepless self-giver
Wins a free accessTo God’s Peace-Kingdom.
```I do not want each moment
To contain a God-Secret.I want each moment
To contain a God-Smile. ```All that I am
I owe onlyTo my Lord Beloved Supreme.
```Whenever I give
And to whomever I give,I always give
With the simplicity, sincerityAnd beauty of my heart,
And never with my hands. ```Not God’s Justice-Eye,
But His Compassion-HeartPresides over
Our Heaven-climbing evolution. ```May each and every meditation
Of mineBe a blossoming heart
Of my love for God. ```Each soulful thought
Has Heaven-climbing,Soaring wings.
```In my deep meditation
I always breathe inA flood of delight-fragrance.
```Each prayer from the heart
Is a self-offering-flameTo our Lord Beloved Supreme.
```I feed my heart
With the nectar-dropsOf my aspiration-heart-cries.
```My all-illumining soul tells me
That it is not an impossible taskFor me to fight against
And conquerMy mind’s doubt-troops.
```The prayer-beauty
Of my searching mindAnd the meditation-fragrance
Of my aspiring heartWill forever remain unparalleled.
```An obedience-heart
Finds no difficultyIn following
Only God’s sunlit Path. ```May each moment
Of my lifeBe the sweetness-fragrance
Of my heart-rose. ```Each deep meditation
Can reapHappiness-fulness-harvest.
```If the mind has enthusiasm
And the heart has eagerness,Then there is nothing
That can remain unaccomplished. ```The soul’s confidence-light
At God’s choice HourUproots all the insecurities
Of our heart. ```My prayerful and soulful service-life
Is, indeed, the Satisfaction-DelightOf my Lord Supreme.
```My self-giving life
Is the singing HeartOf my Absolute Lord Supreme.
```If you have a gratitude-heart,
Then, without fail,You will be able to take in
The breath of inner awakening. ```My God-gratitude-heart
Is my soul’sFountain-bliss-divinity.
```Our mind’s determination-wrestler,
Without fail, has to defeatThe temptation-wrestler of our vital.
```Nothing can be sweeter
Than the fragranceOf our self-giving heart.
```My life’s pendulum
Swings from my heart’s hopeTo my soul’s promise.
```Is God suffering because of me?
My sincerity-heart will answerIn the affirmative.
My insincerity-mind will answerIn the negative.
```My Lord Supreme,
If You do not break my head,Then who will garland my heart?
```When I wonder how God still loves me,
God tells meThat His Hope for me
Will remain immortal. ```You can read a million books;
You may at most get God-inspiration,But not God-realisation.
For God-realisation, you have to studyOnly at your heart’s core.
```My Lord, I feel not only pure
But also perfectWhen I place Your Feet
Upon my heart. ```My heart-tears and my soul-smiles
Always live togetherInside God’s Satisfaction-Heart.
```O my stupidity-mind,
Why do you always hideFrom God’s all-illumining
And all-fulfilling Smile? ```I have sought shelter
Here, there, everywhere.At long last,
I have found my only shelterInside the smiles of God’s Name.
```Our heart is meant
For oneness-love.Our life is meant
For fulness-blossom. ```Self-giving sees always
The secret GuidanceOf our Lord Supreme.
```God is not going to embrace
Your aspiration-heartIf you do not escape the embrace
Of your pleasure-life. ```I am extremely proud
Of my Lord Supreme.Why?
Because He can beUtterly indifferent to me
To make my inner lifeAnd outer life perfect.
```I know there shall come a time
When my desire-life will come to an end.And now
My desire-life’s sincere plea to God:“My Lord, do not give up on me!”
```My Lord, I pray to You
To bless me with a special Boon:I would like to travel with You
Tirelessly and sleeplessly. ```My Lord, when I visit You
I become Your blessingful Smile.My Lord, when You visit me
You become my prayerful cries. ```My Lord, why do I try to fathom
The depth of Your Compassion-Ocean?Why?
My Lord, why do I try to measureThe length of Your Forgiveness-Sky?
Why? ```My Lord, do not avoid me,
Do not ignore me,For this time, without fail,
I shall please YouIn Your own Way.
```My Lord, once more
Appoint me compassionately.This time
I shall prayerfully and self-givinglySatisfy You.
```Self-indulgence I must shun
If I want to see the Rainbow-SmileOf my Lord Supreme.
```My Lord, in countless ways
I have tried and I have failedTo keep You permanently
In the tears and smilesOf my aspiration-heart.
```When you want to succeed,
Use your vital-dynamo.When you want to proceed,
Use your heart-tears. ```God’s Vastness does not mind
Living inside my life’s smallness,As long as God gets a sweet smile
From my heart every day. ```My Lord, my desire-life
Pains You badly.Yet I do not know why
I do not give up my desire-lifeAnd embark on my aspiration-life.
```God does not need
My heart-temple.He needs only
My aspiration-breath-shrine. ```My Lord Supreme
Not only tells me when to fight,But also tells me how to fight
Against my inner enemies:Doubt, insecurity, impurity
And unwillingness. ```O seeker,
If you do not want to leave behindYour unaspiring mind,
Then beg your aspiring heartTo bring God’s Compassion-Presence
Inside your unaspiring mind. ```When my heart becomes
A sleepless God-hunger,God the Compassion feeds me
With His entire universal Existence. ```My Lord, may my outer life become
The Beauty of Your Eye,And may my inner life become
The Fragrance of Your Heart. ```My Lord, when I tell You
That I do not need You,Please do not take me seriously,
Even for a fleeting second. ```My Lord, when You tell me
That You do not need me,Please give me the capacity
To believe You immediately. ```My Lord, do show me the way
To please YouSo that I can devotedly
And self-givingly be worthyOf Your Compassion-flooded
Love and Need. ```My Lord Supreme,
Do give me the capacityTo open my heart
As often as I open my hands. ```God’s Eye
Can and shall cradleAlways
My self-giving oneness-heart. ```May my heart
Every day becomeA sacred and portable
God-shrine. ```My heart, cry and cry,
For this is the only wayTo drink deeply
From God’s Nectar-Fountain-Heart. ```Life becomes an all-fulfilling song
When God invites usTo powerfully strike His Heart-Gong.
```A most powerful meditation begins
Only after God has touchedOur aspiration-heart.
```My heart is afraid of God’s Face
Only whenMy mind ruthlessly disregards
My Lord’s Grace. ```Let us immediately respond
To God’s Call,For His Call is only to divinise our mind
And immortalise our heart. ```If we really love God
And if we really need God,Then we must never hide
Behind the maskOf our human weaknesses.
```A new life is crying in me.
A new life is crying for me.A new life is pushing me forward
Towards God’s Lotus-Feet. ```If anything stops
My heart’s aspiration-flames,Then how can I expect
God’s celestial Smile? ```My Lord, do give me the capacity
To drive my heart-carOn the fastest lane
Of my surrender-life-highway. ```Newness is not enough.
Inside newness we must feel holiness.Holiness is not enough.
Inside holiness we must see and feelGod’s Compassion-flooded Fulness.
```Not even for a fleeting second
We must remain inside our mind-desertIf we want to grow faith-seeds.
Faith-seeds growOnly inside our heart-garden.
```I have covered a very long distance
From my mind-thornsTo my heart-blossoms.
```Desire-life is the emptiness
Of nothingness —Nothing more and nothing less.
```My heart-yearning
Is flying towards Heaven.How and why?
Because my God-Hour has struck! ```My aspiration-heart
Is always homesickTo be with God
And to place itselfAt the Feet of God.
```My Lord, where are You?
“My child, I am at three different placesAt the same time.
I am inside your silence-mind.I am inside your silence-heart.
I am inside your silence-life.” ```My Lord tells me
That as long as I haveA doubting mind,
He will not be able to free meFrom my mind’s darkest bondage-night.
```I feed my Lord’s big Eye
With the tearsOf my small heart.
```My Lord feeds my small heart
With the SmilesOf His big Eye.
```I do not know
How I can ever show my faceTo my Master
If I deliberately absent myselfFrom his grace.
```It is, indeed, utter stupidity
When we think that GodHas turned a deaf ear
To the helplessness of ourPrayer-cries.
```Every day God shows us the way
To be an exact prototype of Himself,But we pay no heed to Him.
```Alas, for centuries
I have forced my Lord SupremeTo remain fast asleep
Inside my darkness-mind-room. ```My Lord Supreme,
Excellence I do not long for.Existence in You only
I long for. ```My Lord, You have performed
A supreme miracle for me:To house Yourself inside my puny heart,
You have transformed Your VastnessInto the smallest atoms.
```My Lord, give me the capacity
To claim You devotedlyThe way You claim me
Proudly. ```My Beloved Supreme tells me
That I shall never be ableTo exhaust His Patience,
But He can and He shallExhaust my ignorance.
```O my doubting mind,
Be wise, be wise!Just allow once and for all
My aspiring heart to step in. ```If we indulge
In our insecurity and jealousy,Our inner life will always remain
Impoverished. ```Every evening my soul invites
My body, vital, mind and heartTo dine.
Only my heart devotedly acceptsThe invitation.
```As there is no right time
For God-Forgiveness,Even so, there is no right time
For God-Compassion.They are always readily available.
```A good life means
An aspiring and dedicated life.It does not mean a life of indulgence
In any way. ```There is no such thing
As an ordinary day.Any day can be successfully transformed
Into an aspiration-day. ```Solitude can either be
An escape from realityOr a genuine God-longing cry.
```God tells me that
It is never too lateTo love Him,
Need Him, fulfil HimAnd please Him.
```Earthly heart-breaking sorrows
Lead us more quickly to GodThan do earthly shallow joys.
```The smiles of our heart
And the dances of our lifeAre the real Heaven-currencies.
