Do not slow down!

God’s Heart

Is eagerly waiting

For you.

We think of God.

We speak about God.

But, alas,

How rarely

We stand up for God!

```

God firmly says to my body,

“You must never think

Of your

Old-age retirement-pleasure!” ```

Peace-gong

The mind cannot hear.

Peace-flute

The heart hears,

And the melody of the flute

The heart shares lovingly

And self-givingly

With the rest of the world. ```

My devotion-heart-eye

Is the only eye

That can see

My Lord’s golden Feet. ```

Alas,

The human mind

At times enjoys confusion,

Even dissatisfaction. ```

I came into the world

To see God’s real Smile.

Alas,

God’s real Smile

Is nowhere to be found.

```

Believe me,

The Divine Power

Is much greater

Than the power of evil. ```

We long

For reality.

Reality longs

For a divine dream. ```

Despair weakens

Sooner than the soonest

Our aspiration-heart.

Only a stark fool

Neither cries

Nor smiles.

Until hope

Becomes a promise,

Hope is all brittle.

Even a giant ego

Suffers a terrible defeat

When the God-Hour dawns.

Softly, tenderly

And blessingfully awakens

The outer freedom

Misguides and misleads

Meditation

Is a gradual

Godward journey.

```

When we do something

Seriously wrong,

Our souls shed

Bitter tears. ```

Aspiration is at once

Our heart’s divine arrow

And our life’s divine protection.

And my meditation-sun

Play together,

It is unimaginably beautiful. ```

Only for God,

Then nothing can frighten me,

Nobody can frighten me. ```

Imagination

Sometimes can be

Mental hallucination.

Has a very special nest:

My heart.

How shall I address You?

“My child,

You can address Me

By any name

Or by any form.” ```

Spirituality

Has many privileges.

The first and foremost

Is God-closeness. ```

Will never be chosen by God

To be a player

In His Cosmic Game. ```

Of my soul

Give my heart

Tremendous joy. ```

Please tell me

If there is a place

In Your entire Creation

Must be challenged and conquered

By our most powerful faith

Sooner or later will drown

In the vast sea

Of ignorance-night. ```

Ends

When he allows the mind

To push him

A desire-life

Is nothing short of

A weakness-mind.

Are found only

In the heart-sky.

And progress

To build a spiritual shrine.

A desert.

Finally it becomes

A useless nothingness.

Self-deception

Can easily be

Contagious.

I am sacrificing

My long-lost self

To You. ```

Surrender has to be

Active and dynamic,

Not merely fascinating

Or dreaming. ```

The angels sing

Untiringly and self-givingly.

Like the prisoner’s

Hunger pangs for light,

We needs must develop

Deep, inner hunger pangs

To see the Face of God.

God’s chosen children

Are always on the alert

So that undivine forces

Cannot invade

God’s Inner Circle.

There is an unknown Source

Of love, devotion and surrender

Deep within us. ```

Its multiple and multiplying

Desperation-cries.

Many, many, many more

Supremely divine things

Are yet to come. ```

He sincerely tries

Not to see

The darkness of the world,

But unfortunately

He sees it. ```

There are some things

That must be done

Before others —

Such as my aspiration

And my dedication.

Ignorance-night

Is dauntless,

Ruthless,

Godless.

Therefore it is useless.

Affection, Love,

Sweetness, Fondness

God has for me.

Every day I live and grow

Under His Protection-Tree.

Has descended upon my head

To shatter my ego-pride

Permanently. ```

There is only one thing

That I do not like about God:

He likes to hide.

There are many nice things

That I can say about God,

But one thing I would like to say:

His Love for us

Has neither beginning

The mind is empty

Of concern.
