She has won a total of 21 Ironman events in various countries and holds the world record with a time of 8:50:23. She has opened up new horizons in the world of women’s endurance sports, based on her philosophy: “You must have an unshatterable belief in yourself.” In 1989 she was named the “Greatest All Around Female Athlete in the World.” Paula lives in Encinatas, California.> I think that for everyone there are boundaries. You always have boundaries on what you think you can do. Sri Chinmoy says that what you did last year is not necessarily where you need to stay, as great as it might have been. Sri Chinmoy blows away the boundaries, onward and upward — there doesn’t need to be a limit.
