684. God is all gratitude

God gave me a receptive life.

Therefore

I am all gratitude to him.

I gave God a deceptive smile.

Yet

God is all gratitude to me.

He says

At least I have given Him something.

There are countless souls on earth

Who have given Him

And will give Him

Nothing.

```
