When my dream-tower collapses
And is totally ruined,I do not suffer,
For I know that it was, after all,Only a dream-tower,
And it had nothing to doWith my soul’s vision-reality.
My dream-tower is always madeOf my wishful thinking.
I do not need it.I shall not need it.
It is an unnecessary thingFrom my very remote past.
