Dekhona dosh karuna rosh ogo Ashutosh

Koti kantho gahe tabo jaya jaya he

Bale diyo tumi ke ar ami ke

Balo amake gahi taba jaya jaya jaya he

Tomar hate paramer dhaner krosh

Ogo ashutosh ekti patai tomar santosh

O Lord Shiva,

Whom we can please easily

In the twinkling of an eye,

Do bless me.

You are satisfied

Even when we offer You

A tiny leaf.

You see not

Our Himalayan mistakes.

Anger fails to touch You.

Millions of people sing Your victory-song,

Yet nobody knows who You truly are.

I do not know even who I am,

Not to speak of You and others.

In You I see Your Infinity’s

Compassion-Wealth.
