On January 12, 1986 Mr. Akishige Matsumoto, Honourary Doctor of Laws and Chairman of the Executive Office of the Japan Republic Association, invited Sri Chinmoy to be a guest of honour at a reception given for Mr. Matsumoto in Kyoto. Following are excerpts from their meeting. Mr. Matsumoto: May I kindly have your attention for a few minutes. I would like to introduce our special guest, Sri Chinmoy.
