Mridu-di's passing

My physical mother died when I was twelve years old. Of all my mothers at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Mridu-di was by far the best and the most affectionate. On the 22nd of September, 1962, Mridu-di passed away. I wrote a special poem for her in Bengali. Then I translated it into English. Even in those days I was able to write poems in English!
