Diyo shudhu more narak dukh

Hoping that You will grant me

The delight of Heaven,

Then never grant me the happiness and ecstasy

Of Heaven.

If I worship You with the hope that You will not torture me

With the unbearable torture of Hell,

Then do torture me with the unbearable torture

Of Hell.
