If you aspire
To reach the Highest,
Your own highest height
Someday
Will definitely respond.

If our meditations are deep,
Then our meditations
Will give us the capacity
To extend
Our happiness-boundaries.

A true seeker feels
That God’s Forgiveness
Is a fortune
That he will never be able
To exhaust.

Our abiding happiness
Depends upon
Our self-offering
To the entire world.

Our adamantine determination
Will definitely triumph
Over all our past misdeeds.

Disaster may appear
To crush my hope,
But my God-manifestation-promise
Will never be affected.

If you see through
Another man’s eyes,
If you feel through
Another man’s heart,
Then you realise
That there are other people
On earth
Who are infinitely more miserable
Than you are.

I am happy because
God’s Eye
Tells me what to do.

I am happy that
God’s Feet
Do everything for me.

O ignorance-world,
Give me back,
Give me back
My ancient aspiration-heart!

Each time I ask God
For material satisfaction,
God answers my prayers
With a very heavy sigh.

My gratitude-filled heart
Sadly fails to touch
My aspiration-empty mind.

Like the world of imagination,
The world of frustration
Will always remain limitless.

Man’s disobedience-attachment-mind
Is definitely stronger
Than his obedience-devotion-heart.

Each time I meditate,
Prayerfully and soulfully,
My meditation enlarges
My experience-world
Far beyond my imagination.

O my mind,
I am telling you
Once and for all,
I am totally tired
Of your ignorance-festivities.

Alas,
Will I ever realise
That my love of God
Can never be replaced
By anything else?

The day I do not pray and meditate,
I really feel like
A boat ruthlessly tossed
On a stormy sea.

May my mind’s search for God
And my heart’s love of God
Become two real friends.

As we have to climb up the tree
To reach the fruit,
Even so,
We have to dive within
To collect our inner treasure.

Like my soul,
When my body becomes
Constantly a servant
Of God’s Will,
I will be able to become
A choice instrument of God,
And not before.

Do not try to enslave
The thoughts of your mind.
Try to illumine
The thoughts of your mind
If you really want
Real happiness.

Death laughs
When we tell the world
We can escape
The snare of death.

Our morning prayers
Can definitely reveal
The ultimate excellence
Of our life.

The mind thinks it knows
What happiness is.
But alas,
Happiness knows
That the mind is fooling itself.

Do not shut your heart’s door
Against the rising inner sun
If you want enlightenment.

We can depend upon only one thing:
We can readily and happily
Depend upon God’s Promise
To transform our earth-bound sufferings
Into His Heaven-free Delight.

Today,
In a divine way,
For your tomorrow’s heart-sun

That the Will
That directs our inner life
Is indeed indomitable.

At God’s Feet
Only after offering God

And not before.

Just as there is no crime
In Heaven,

There should be no self-indulgence

Life is one long struggle.
Who has made it so,

Silence
Is the music of Heaven.
Sound
Is the music of earth.

Is the music of my Lord Supreme.

It is an impossible task
To separate a desire-life
From a barren desert-experience.

God’s Head may get tired,
But not His Eye of Compassion
And His Heart of Forgiveness.

To God the Creator
And not to God the creation,
Alas, no one appreciates me.

Your love letter every day
Provided
Your love letter embodies
Devotion-flames.

Only the tears
That live in the heart
And come from the heart
Are tears that can change
The face and fate of mankind.

There shall come a time
When God will force
Your disobedience-mind
To surrender unconditionally.

There is an endless battle going on
Between the heart’s faith
And the mind’s doubt.
But you definitely know
At the end of the spiritual road
Faith will ultimately win.

Countless years I lived
In God’s Forgiveness-Heart.
Countless years I lived
In God’s Compassion-Eye.
Now countless years
I would like to live
In God’s Satisfaction-Life.

Your mind’s idea of sincerity
Cannot lift your consciousness
To the highest height,
For quite often
Your mind’s sincerity
Is a mixture of truth and falsehood.

O seeker,
At every moment
Try to encircle your world
With your oneness-heart-song.

O my Lord,
Do grant me a special Boon.
Do not allow my heart
To be fettered
By my past memories.

Neither your love
For name and fame
Nor your contempt
For name and fame
Can give you satisfaction.
You will have satisfaction
Only when you see
God’s smiling Eyes
Inside your name and fame.

The mind that plays with attachment
Is the mind
That either consciously or unconsciously
Is afraid of the soul’s enlightenment
Inside the heart.

Your past
Cannot drag you anywhere.
It is your present
That can either
Guide your past lovingly
Or reject your past vehemently.

Only a sincere God-hungry soul
Is eventually destined
For the perfection-blessings
Of a new world of delight.

Each time we identify ourselves
With God’s Will unconditionally,
We prayerfully set sail
On the ocean of Infinity
And Immortality.

The only prayer
That is apt to move God’s Heart
Is the prayer of man’s heart
For his life’s complete transformation.

May my mind be a house
Of divine thoughts only,
And never, never
Of uncomely thoughts.

The unreal world
Demands and commands.
The real world waits
For God’s Hour to strike.

When we live inside
The body, the vital and the mind,
We enjoy the game of separativity.
But when we live in
The heart and the soul,
Not only do we not enjoy
The game of the mind’s separativity,
But also we do enjoy
The game of the heart’s all-encouraging
And all-inspiring unity.

O seeker,
When will you realise that
You are punishing and banishing God
When you are constantly thinking
Of pleasing yourself in your own way?

False devotion
Is nothing other than
Self-declaration.
True devotion
Is nothing other than
God-accelerating manifestation.

He who has only
A short-lived friendship
With faith and courage
Will never be able
To become a victor
In the battlefield of life.

Where does the human in me live?
It lives in the lap
Of self-indulgence.
Where does the divine in me live?
It lives in the eye
Of God-blossoming Beauty.

The doubting mind is always
Either aggressive or offensive.
Hardly ever is it defensive.

You do need
The inspiration-aspiration-encouragement
Of your soul
If you want to become
A constantly self-giving life.

God is proud of the mind
That loves to study
At the God-obedience school.

Be constantly found
Inside my God-gratitude-heart.

When God Himself
Is your private Aspiration-Tutor,
You will long to drive
Your life-car
Along aspiration-avenue,
And not before.

Although it has had only
A fleeting glimpse of God,
The seeker in me
Is flying
In the sky of freedom
And diving
In the sea of universality.

If you have an unsettled mind,
How can you ever have
A peace-settled heart?
Impossible!

It is simply impossible
For us to live on earth
Without swallowing the world-poison.
But we can save ourselves from destruction
With our heart’s mounting prayer.

Alas,
I was totally unarmed
And unready
When the darkness-forces
Invaded my mind.

As the mind thinks
It is always swamped
By responsibilities,
Even so, the heart feels
It is always filled
With God-manifestation-opportunities.

If we do not feed God
With our heart-prayers,
All our God-satisfaction-strength
Will before long wither.

I do not want to be
A many-splendoured genius.
I want to be only
A God-fulfilment-promise.

Every day I magnify
My ego-eye.
Alas,
When shall I start
To simplify my life
And purify my heart?

No world-criticism
Can take our life-breath away
If we live in the heart-garden
Of our Inner Pilot.

Now that wisdom
Has dawned upon me,
I am shunning
My age-old companionship
With ignorance-night.

O my heart’s hope-tears,

O my soul’s promise-smiles,
Descend!

My Lord,
How can I erase my past?
“My child,
Lose yourself in tomorrow’s
Beauty, purity and divinity.
You will be a stranger,
A perfect stranger,
To your past misdeeds.”

Politics is man’s
Man-made power-play.
Spirituality is God’s
God-made Oneness-Play.

So far,
I have not enjoyed anything
In my mind.
But today I am enjoying
The final farewell address
Of my mind.

I am living in between
The ignorance
Of my immature mind
And the tolerance
Of my mature heart.

Be not cowed down
By a plethora of problems.
Each problem secretly embodies
The birth of a new manifestation
Of our Lord Supreme.

When shall I come to realise
That doubt is my sworn enemy
And not my private tutor?

Even though the gossip-blows
Cannot be cured,
They can definitely cheerfully
Be endured.

Each time I look at myself
Through my Master’s Eye,
I see only
A bright, brighter, brightest
Mountain of hope.

Alas,
I enjoy my stubborn mind
And not
My God-born heart.

My Lord, my Lord,
Every morning I need
A very special Blessing from You
So that I do not live beyond
My spiritual income.

Let me have patience,
Eternity’s Patience.
There is no life-problem
That cannot be resolved
By my soul-eternity’s Patience.

How can the disobedience of the mind
Ever hope to be
A choice instrument of God?

Each time we increase
Our inner faith,
Our mind’s teeming doubts
Raise formidable barriers.
But God is always on our side
To help us win.

Without arriving at the foot
Of the aspiration-mountain,
We try to climb the mountain.

We must go beyond,
Far beyond the domain
Of our earth-bound experiences
To make friends with
Our Heaven-free realisations.

Although I have lost all hope,
My Lord Supreme continues
To row my heart’s hope-boat.

The human vital
Worships power.
The divine vital
Becomes the power of love.

No genuine aspiration
Can ever take
Backward steps.

If I do not have
An aspiration-heart,
God-adoration
Will never blossom
In my life.

There are many inner weapons
To fight against humanity’s ignorance.
But forgiveness-peace
Is by far the best.

Do you want to see God smiling?
Then deliberately and consciously
Forget your deplorable past.

O my mind,
What you need from God is guidance.
O my heart,
What you need from God is encouragement.

God made great demands
On Himself
When he dreamt of making me
Into a choice instrument
Of His Manifestation on earth.

God has come
To give me His All.
But alas, I do not know where
My heart has gone.

When I live inside
My mind’s day,
I live inside
The night of adversity
At the same time.

Each self-giving thought
Immediately doubles
My God-satisfaction-strength.

The moment I make
My unconditional surrender
To God’s Will,
God Himself navigates
My heart’s delight-boat.
