Talk and talk about God,
God’s Heart
Becomes all Pride
In them.

Your heart-sky
Can be lit
Only with your own
Aspiration-cries
And realisation-smiles.

All your failures
Will eventually fade away.

Is nothing but a journey
From one ruthless struggle
To another.

How can we have
Peace of mind
If we do not release
The iron grip
Of our intolerant ego?

The mind knows
What it has:
A series of complications.
The heart knows
What it is:
A streaming flow of compassion.

Alas, when shall we learn
That each undivine action
Ends in endless anxieties?

Soulful opportunities
Knock at our heart-door.
We just have to open the door
To love and please God
In His own Way.

When we think we cannot climb
Any higher,
There begins the death
Of our inner journey.

The absence
Of undivine thoughts
Is the presence-proof
Of purity.

We have perplexities
In our mind-life
Just because quite often
We consciously cherish
Our mind’s confusion-perplexities.

Alas, what am I doing?
Why am I not using fruitfully
My life’s earth-bound time
To enter into
My soul’s Heaven-free time?

No soul can travel
Along the path of Eternity
Without experiencing
The formidable strength
Of human tears and sighs.

The day I do not
Pray and meditate,
I invariably find myself crushed
Beneath the heavy weight
Of helplessness.

The tireless and breathless
Aspiration of the heart
Is always far above
The mind’s poor understanding.

Not because my mind
At times denies the existence of God
Am I a failure,
But because I have no time
To kindle the flame of aspiration
In my sleeping heart-room.

The conflict between
The mind and the heart
Can be solved only
By the express illumination-presence
Of the soul.

That only God
Or His own personal Peace
Can comfort
My heart’s streaming tears.

Or will fail,
But not self-giving love.

I always choose God’s Feet,

To God-service

At your mind-door,

To please others,
But, alas, quite difficult

For human death,
