When my heart’s aspiration-flamesWere not burning properly,
I begged God to come.
He came only to tell me
That mine was not a serious case,
And that I would be cured.
And, in fact, He cured me
In the twinkling of an eye!
Now my aspiration-flames
Are burning bright, brighter, brightest.
