Europe-Blossoms

AUM 1165e2. During his lecture tour in Europe this summer, in addition to giving twenty lectures, Sri Chinmoy also wrote one thousand poems. The poems will be published under the title: //Europe-Blossoms//. Each of the following ten poems was selected from a group of one hundred.

God-embrace²

I fasted to realise God;
Therefore
God laughed at my earth-life
Of stupidity.

I cried to realise God;
Therefore
God smiled at my Heaven-life
Of necessity.

I prayed to realise God;
Therefore
God appreciated my earth-life
Of sincerity.

I meditated to realise God;
Therefore
God embraced my Heaven-life
Of reality.
