Question: How can we stop ego from interfering with our progress?
Sri Chinmoy: You have to know that salt and sugar together cannot be tasted. Salt by itself or sugar by itself you can taste, but together they have no flavour. You have to decide what you appreciate. If you appreciate your inner progress, then you will give no importance to the ego. If you value your ego-authority, then you will have to make slow, very slow progress.
