If you find it difficultTo offer God your unreserved
And unconditional obedience,
Try to offer Him
Your cheerful obedience.
If that too is impossible,
Then try at least to offer Him
Your unwilling, reluctant obedience.
Today’s unwilling, reluctant obedience
Will eventually be transformed
Into tomorrow’s unreserved
And unconditional obedience.
