Yesterday I excused myself,
And thus I lowered
The quality-standard
Of the world.

Today I am excusing myself,
And thus I am lowering
The quality-standard
Of my own soul.

Tomorrow I shall excuse myself,
And thus I shall lower
Even the Quality-standard
Of my Beloved Supreme.
