Question: In meditation I experienced myself flying in a limitless expanse above a broad ocean. What consciousness does this represent?

Sri Chinmoy: This is a vital consciousness — not the lower vital — but the vital that is at times dynamic, at times enthusiastic. This vital consciousness wants to go beyond its present limit, but it need not and cannot be the highest type of consciousness.
