Ami ki ma pagol tabe
Pagol ke noi tomar kache
Balo mago nikhil bhabe
Boka ami pagol ami
Ami tomar koler shishu
Bishwajayi habo ami
Param gyani Buddha Jishu

Everybody calls me mad.
Am I really mad then?
Tell me, Mother, is there anybody who is not mad
In Your eyes, in Your vast world?
I am ready to be known as a foolish and mad fellow
As long as You will place me on Your Lap
And there I shall become another Christ
And another Buddha of Compassion-Illumination.
