Aghat haniya parane amar
Janaile tumi karunamoy
Mithya bijoyi hate habe mor
Kiser chinta kiser bhoy

Translation

You have struck me, my heart,
And then made me feel
That You are infinite Compassion.
I wanted to become a hero
In the world of falsehood;
Therefore, You have struck me
And said to me,
“Be victorious.
Only by conquering false thoughts,
False ideas,
Will you become the victor
In the world of truth.”
