Mahatma’s deliverance is nothing other than the fruit of renunciation. Tagore’s deliverance is precisely the fruit of fulfilment. Tagore sings:
"Deliverance is not for me in renunciation, I feel the embrace of freedom in a thousand bonds of delight."
