His Eyes of diamond Peace

To feed the brooding spans with vision-flame
   Two Eyes of diamond Peace.
Their moon-gold Love descends in the human heart
   Our mortal life to seize.

And change our sombre fate and venomed hours,
   Our sorrow's songs outcast.
No more shall rule the ancient heavy veil
   Our self’s forgotten vast.

Uncovered is the earth's aspiring soul.
   Two Eyes; only two Eyes!...
The storm-winged tragedy of ignorance stark
   Salutes their immortal Rise.
