The genesis of Hope32
The poem Hope is among my first ten poems in the English language.33I started writing English poems in Pondicherry, India. One day the servants were breaking coconuts. I was watching them and reading Sri Aurobindo’s Savitri. I got inspiration all of a sudden that afternoon. This is how my Hope poem came into existence. It is one of my most inspired poems.
