Maestro Yehudi Menuhin was a very dear friend of international peace leader Sri Chinmoy. They first met seven years ago in New York and have corresponded extensively since that time. In fact, just a few days before Lord Menuhin’s passing on March 12th, Sri Chinmoy received a letter from him which was dated March 5th.

The two men shared a deep and abiding love for music and a commitment to world peace.
