Why not cheat?
But
Whom to cheat?
Man?
He is poorer than
A church-mouse.
Therefore,
My deception-life
Shall fail to wear
The garland of satisfaction-pride.

Why not cheat?
But
Whom to cheat?
God?
Alas, He has Infinity within,
He is Eternity without.
My deception can never decrease
His Infinity's Light
Or His Eternity's Height.
Therefore,
My deception-life
Shall fail to wear
The garland of satisfaction-pride.
